Nebraska Farm BureauNebraska Farm Bureau®

"I am deeply impressed with the number of young people that want to return to farms and ranches that they grew up on, and to the communities that they grew up in.  They are looking at numerous options in order to be successful in the life they chose for themselves and their families.  They realize that to farm and ranch the same way that their parents and grandparents did may not work in the future.  The ESI program will be a tremendous help in encouraging our youth to look at the opportunities in their communities and on their family farms and ranches.  The program will allow successful farmers, ranchers and businesses to mentor our youth and to encourage them to look at the possibilities of doing what they want to do and how to achieve their goals.  Young people need to be encouraged to return to their home communities and the ESI program is a step in that direction.  As a former 4-H leader I am very excited with the quality of the material that has been developed for this program."
